The RAF Standard Issue MK16A Flight suit is the latest development of the Royal Air Force flight suit and
features innovations and improvements honed over countless combat missions and updated to suit the latest advanced fast jets.
The RAF MK 16A Flight suit is standard issue to Royal Air Force pilots, navigators and aircrew. Carefully designed to provide
a balance between a practical flexible work suit and a feature rich technically superior coverall. The MK16A suit is ergonomically
designed and has pilot secure pockets, kneepads, fastenings and comfort features.
The suit is also highly flame retardant, designed to provide personal protection using Nomex® Delta C outer fabric.
Key Technical Features:-

  • Ergonomic design to provide maximum maneuverability and conform for wearer.
  • Inherently flame retardant DuPont Nomex® Delta C Aramid rip stop outer material.
  • Two breast pockets with with zip fastening for additional security.
  • Two lower leg bellow pockets with flap for easy access when in sitting position.
  • Padded pen pocket on left sleeve positioned for easy access.
  • Adjustable cuff tab at sleeve with FR velcro to ensure safe and comfortable fit.
  • Front fastening with heavy duty 2-way zip.
  • Legs openings secured with zips to allow easy donning.
  • Two side pockets positioned at hips with access.
